Whether it's complete framing for home additions or interior framing for a room remodel, I always make sure it's thoughtfully designed. It takes not only skilled craftsmanship but a comprehensive plan to seamlessly integrate it into (or on to) the existing space.

As someone who cares about the fineer detail, finish carpentry is my showcase. Detailed finish carpentry includes doors, trim, moldings, baseboards, casings, paneling, and other elements that bring a project together with a refined, finished appearance.

When I do a project, I execute with precision and perfection. Structural framing for new construction, additions, remodels, and renovations, serve as the (literal) foundation to my work. But I like to pay particular attention to the small details that make each project work better so that the project flows smoothly, when built from the ground up.

Additions & Remodels

Kitchen remodels can include a wide variety of options - a combination of simple refacing of existing cabinets and countertop replacements, to built-to-fit custom-designed cabinetry and all new sourced materials by design. I have done kitchen remodels on every level, from all-new, custom builds, to simple, budget-friendly updates. Whatever the client's needs demand, I deliver.

Kitchen Remodels
Cabinets, Countertops & Woodworking

I specialize in custom craftsmanship. Furniture-quality custom design elements come from carefully-selected woods and natural materials for doors, drawers, trim, hardware, and finishes for any custom woodworking I do when creating a distinctive and functional centerpiece.

Details like custom cabinetry for cupboards, pantries and kitchen islands, countertops and surfaces, built-ins, and specialty spaces for appliances, not only showcase the design and custom craftsmanship, but it can also maximize storage, functionality, and overall kitchen working efficiency.

Even for smaller spaces, a complete bathroom remodel fully transforms a bathroom to bring together feature and functionality. From custom cabinetry, countertops, tile, stone, plumbing fixtures, lighting, flooring, and handcrafted details, I love making it all blend and work together in one cohesive design. With so many completed full-room remodels and additions in my portfolio, I tend to specialize in custom kitchen and bathroom remodels. Both remodel project types can include a wide variety of options, but I like to tailor it to my client's needs depending on taste, time, and budget.

Bathroom Remodels

Kitchens are the heart of the home. So I pour my passion into each kitchen remodel when it comes to bringing a client's vision to life.

Tile & Stone Projects

I've done several custom tile and stonework for all types of spaces, both inside and outside. For bathrooms, tile and stone projects for floors, walls, and built-in bathroom features (showers, tub surrounds, vanities) can be integrated in a way to combine durability with timeless design.

Stonework Projects

For kitchens, the right tile design compliments the cabinetry, countertops, and completes the overall character of the kitchen. Outdoor stonework usually includes walkways/stepping stone paths, walls, and all types of landscaping using stone blocks and tiles.

Tile Work Projects

No job is too simple or complex. From classic subway tile layouts to intricate mosaics, decorative patterns and borders, I've done a variety of designs for clients for both kitchens & baths, including countertops & backsplashes, tile flooring, sinks/counters, and showers.

Speciality tilework adds an artistic and highly-personalized element to any space. Adam works with clients to incorporate their ideas into a final design that enhances the overall aesthetic.

Tile and stone works well for fireplaces, and hearths, as well as kitchen countertops & backsplashes. Custom tile and natural stone fireplaces, surrounds, mantels, and hearths become distinctive architectural focal points.

Flooring,
Decking & Fencing

I work with all types of flooring and decking materials - for projects both inside and out. Quality shows when it comes to flooring, so I take a lot of care during material selection and install, which is absolutely critical for this type of skilled project work.

My past outdoor decking work includes gates, fences, railings, gazebos, steps/stairs, pergolas, balconies, and occasional custom design work such as these benches. I worked with the client to come up with this simple, yet garden-accessible design.

Indoor Flooring Projects
Decking & Fencing Projects

Indoor floors may be done per room, but I've done flooring projects which run throughout all common living areas (i.e. kitchen, bathroom, hallways, living/family room spaces), flowing seamlessly from one space to the next, for a continuous, flawless floor.

Lighting & Landscaping

I like to work closely with clients when it comes to interior lighting. Projects such as recessed and ceiling lights, track lighting, and beam or ceiling-hung fans and fixtures can be strategically placed to provide balanced illumination depending on the size of the room, and particular focus areas to highlight.

For outdoor lighting, I've installed porch, entry and door light fixtures and designed exterior accent lighting to illuminate architectural features, stonework, trees and other details. Outdoor lighting enhancements also include low-voltage lighting along walkways, steps, gardens, and landscape features. This not only improves safety, but creates an inviting outdoor space after dark.

Landscape Lighting Projects

Lighting design and installation is as much about the feel as it is its function. Lighting projects I do have included everything from built-in lighting (not only to ceilings and walls), to under cabinets, shelves, and to highlight other architectural features for a clean, finished look that's functional and at the same time, sets the mood.
